About Dr. Ganesh

Dr Vyhunthan Ganeshanathan (Dr Ganesh) brings a unique blend of experiences as a private pain specialist, supervisor of pain medicine training, consultant pain specialist at Fiona Stanley Hospital, examiner for the Faculty of Pain Medicine of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (ANZCA) and senior clinical lecturer at the Dental School, University of Western Australia. He has gained academic and clinical experience in Australia, the United Kingdom, and Sri Lanka, further enhancing his understanding of pain management over the past 30 years.

Dr Ganesh is a dual-qualified specialist in anaesthesia and pain medicine, and his qualifications and experience are:

  • Acupuncture 1996
  • MBBS
  • Doctorate in Anaesthesia and Pain Medicine (MD)
  • Fellow of the Royal College of Anaesthetists (FRCA, UK)
  • Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FANZCA)
  • Fellow of the Faculty of Pain Medicine ANZCA (FFPMANZCA)

We have ensured consistent pain management support for the Perth and Southwest regions. Our commitment is to see all new patients within two weeks of receiving their referral across our Osborne Park, Canning Vale, Wanneroo, Mandurah, and Bunbury clinics. If intervention is required, we can promptly arrange interventional pain management procedures at Perth Day Hospital (Osborne Park) and Waikiki Private Hospital (Rockingham) within a month.
